About Me

Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s in Computational Science & Engineering and currently pursuing a PhD at the Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna in Physics of the Earth and of the Circumterrestrial Medium. My research bridges computational fluid dynamics and urban environmental simulation, aiming to develop innovative solutions for climate resilience and sustainable design. I have published work on urban fluid dynamics, solar energy systems, and virtual reality applications in engineering design. My expertise spans across virtual reality design, high-performance computing, and environmental turbulence.

Experience

• Research Assistant, NUST Islamabad (May 2021 – Jul 2023)
  From May 2021 to July 2023, I worked as a Research Assistant at the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Islamabad, where I conducted advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics analyses to evaluate the impact of street orientations and height-to-width ratios on the urban microclimate of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. My research aimed to identify design configurations that reduce ambient air temperatures and enhance outdoor thermal comfort in dense urban areas. The results, developed using tools such as ENVI-met are presented to the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) and contributed to policy recommendations for sustainable urban planning.
